Oooof! Its been a week! Much like Bree mentioned on Wednesday, I’ve been feeling all the emotions this week, and it seems like it changes minute by minute. It finally hit me that my parents won’t be able to make the trip from California to DC next month for my son’s 1st birthday. My dad is immunocompromised, and as much as I’d like them to be here, I’d much rather he be around for more birthdays and holidays in the future. That, on top of some potential changes with my husband’s work, has really brought the gravity of the whole situation to light for me this week. But I’m doing my best to look at the positives – we’re all healthy, our families are healthy, and we’re getting a lot of quality time together. I hope you’re all able to take a step back each day to acknowledge the positives amidst all the stress and chaos.

We’ve got a glam, Baltimore wedding to kick off your weekend. We’ll see you on the flip side!

Each element within the couples autumn wedding day sparkled and shined right down to all of the details. Keisha included her Alpha Kappa Alpha sister’s within her bridesmaid circle, and even paid homage to the sisterhood during the reception. Anthony spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen and best woman, all wearing matching, custom tuxedos.

The wedding party took photos at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve before heading to Celebrations at the Bay where the ceremony was held during a beautiful sunset. Family formal photos followed after the ceremony and everyone head indoors for the reception.

As the sun set into pinks, purples and blues, the reception hall glowed with matching colors. The newlywed couple was announced into a large ballroom in front of all of their friends and family with a blanket of clouds covering the floor. They danced their first dance in what looked like a dream before all of the festivities began.
