*taps mic* This thing on?
It’s been so long since I’ve opened up WordPress, that it took me a solid 5 minutes just to figure out how to create a new blog article. Life has just been a blur lately – between the insanity of living in America, and starting a new job last year, and raising 3 kids (and a dog … and a fish… and now a hamster) – every time I thought I would have time to start blogging again, something popped up and the day was over and I was exhausted on my couch, unable to re-open my laptop.
But here’s for rainy Saturdays and ignoring my dogs nibbles to take him on a walk, and blog instead. I know I could certainly use more love, more, joy, and more ACTUAL HUMANS in my life these days. So let’s just get to a new blog post, shall we? Ashley & Khianti … take it away!

Advice for future couples: Take every moment in! Your wedding day goes so fast. I was blessed to have wonderful family and friends help me with anything when I needed it. If you need a moment to breathe, ask for one! Don’t be afraid to take some deep breaths and get a moment to yourself when you need it. It’s your day! Don’t let guests try and take over your wedding. It’s your day and you planned it for a while.

It was a beautiful but a crazy day! I wish I could live it again so I could soak in every moment that was going on, all over the place. We were blessed with the most beautiful weather, friends, and family. The venue (Springfield Manor) was beautiful and the staff members were so kind and helpful.

I had an amazing hair/makeup artist (Ashley Chin) and photographer (Amanda MacPhee) who made everything so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about anything with them. They both made me feel beautiful that day, which is more than what a bride could ever want.

One of my favorite moments was being pulled for some sunset pictures just to get away from the chaos and to have some private time with my husband. Our sunset pictures were such a beautiful moment to have together. Our photographer made everything so easy and the pictures came out wonderfully. It’s so difficult to choose our favorites.
