Loving this modern, industrial DC wedding from Darling Photographers & The Plannery today! The couple used the Studio Theatre for their wedding venue, in the heart of Logan Circle. Gorgeous centerpieces on banquet tables, pops of chevrons, the cutest tuxedo-wearing dog, and so much happiness makes this the perfect DC wedding feature. Enjoy!

One of Kara’s favorite wedding trends are bridal bouquets with different types of flowers and lots of green, not just a bunch of roses. Mike likes that more and more, you’re not expected to follow all traditions and you can personalize the event.

We hired The Plannery to coordinate our event. Most of our guests are from out of town and wanted to have time with them and not worry about timelines. They did an excellent job at keeping things on time and running smoothly.

The venue, which is “raw and industrial”. And wanting things to be comfortable and fun. From the beer doozies as wedding favors to cocktail dresses for bridesmaids to canned beers from Cincinnati, NC and DC, we were looking for people to just relax and have a good time.

Thinking about our flowers, our center pieces were herbs which I bought and gave to our coordinator to spread around the room. I wanted something simple, but unique.
