For those that don’t know – I was honored to be a bridesmaid in my best friends’ wedding this past weekend in Pittsburgh. While I anxiously await the arrival of the pictures from the professional photographer, I thought it might be fun to share a few of their DIY projects [they did a ton – and I helped with one too!] for today’s DIY Wedding Inspiration post!

[as always, apologies for the terrible quality of these pictures, i hope my photog friends don’t cringe too much ;) ]

Oh hey – it’s me being …. well me … and the BRIDE, Amanda!

DIY Wedding Project #1: DIY Photobooth Guestbook!

Using our own DIY Photobooth Guestbook tutorial, I helped Steve & Amanda create one for the own wedding! We made the instruction cards Thursday before the wedding:

And then Steve’s sister snagged this shot of the DIY photobook guestbook in action – the guests has a BLAST using it!! I can’t wait to see how the boook came out :)

DIY Wedding Project #2: DIY Origami Flower Escort Cards

Another DIY wedding project that Steve & Amanda spent countless hours on, were hand-making the origami flower escort cards! Using the tutorial that we have to turn these adorable orgiami flowers into a bouquet, Steve & Amanda, instead, used them as individual flowers – to be the escort cards, with the center glitter gem being our meal!

DIY Wedding Project #3: Sweetheart Table “Mr & Mrs” Sign

I love how their “Mr & Mrs” sweetheart table sign came out! The purple looks awesome – especially with all our bright, summery pink bouquets aligned around the table!!

Lucky for you there will still be LOTS to come from this awesome wedding :) Steve & Amanda spent TONS of time & effort making this wedding their own. I was honored to be a part of it, and am just as honored to get to ‘feature’ here on my blog! Congrats again you crazy kids!
