Another Friday, another major TGIF vibe over here. Work was INSANE this week, we had random house alarm issues at 2am and 4am on Wednesday night, Conrad has been a handful (when isn’t he?!), and I’m TIRED.

So not a lot to share personally … let’s just get to the goods with this DREAMY Modern Fairytale Styled Shoot at one of our favorite DC wedding venues, Fathom Gallery!

The light and airy table design created a whimsical atmosphere for the wedding. The design was created to stand out from what you normally see for a wedding. We started by doing a square table, instead of one long rectangle table. We kept with the square theme in the menu design, napkin fold, and even the shape that the smaller glass vases created on the table. This was followed by not adding any table cloths, but allowing the beautiful white glass of the table to show, and having a white rose decal on the clear acrylic chairs as a special addition to the design.

All of these elements were done to purposefully create a non-rigid design. The brick walls of the venue are painted white with these Art Deco frames that hang along the wall for viewing pleasures and the sliding barn doors with the stainless steel gray, adding the pop of sleek color for this wedding.

For the flowers, we went with one grand baby’s breath centerpiece atop a tall glass vase. Pops of white hydrangeas and roses were incorporated into the baby’s breath design to have a romantic feel inside of this airy design. At the base of this centerpiece stood 24 slender glass vases filled with individual roses and baby’s breath to add that whimsical feeling from top to bottom!
