Here at Capitol Romance, weekends are often spent working — either coordinating a wedding, meeting with couples to create draft timelines and layouts, or organizing details and documents. But this weekend, our team will be gathering for our first coordinator meetup of the year! Now don’t get me wrong, we talk ALL. THE. TIME. by email, phone and text, but between COVID and busy lives, it isn’t often possible to gather a majority of us together. It will be great to see everyone in person, share tales from weddings, and, most importantly, escape all of the stresses of the “real world” and get to know each other outside of work.

And speaking of an escape, how about this Texas hill country styled shoot???

With a beautiful view overlooking the Texas hill country, this team put together a boho lovers dream! Pampas grass, vintage furniture and  local hand made jewelry were the inspiration behind this gorgeous styled wedding shoot.

Something about the combination of  vintage decor and dried florals gets us going.  The feeling is almost nostalgic when you notice that every aspect of this shoot was hand crafted and timeless.  Every item was chose. with such attention to detail.  Our goal was to showcase fine luxury items that were crafted with heart and soul.

Everything from the dress to the furniture was all hand-crafted or sourced by a local member of our Austin wedding community.  The florals were hand dried, jewelry hand crafted and invitations were beautifully done by one of our favorite local calligraphers.

We focused on a terra cotta and dusty blue color palette to keep the faded vintage theme throughout.
