I’ve been feeling a little anxious over the last few days, with the runoff election today, and protests in DC this week. It all just has me on edge. But I’m trying to distract myself with post-holiday thank you notes, tracking down packages that have been stuck in USPS purgatory for the last few weeks, and enjoying our Christmas decorations just a little bit longer before we get rid of our tree.

A Father reflects on memories of his daughter as a little girl. Flashbacks of her as a little girl. He enjoys the moments he shares with her on her wedding day – reading a letter from his daughter, seeing her in her wedding dress, presenting her to her husband to be. Her father’s words and his comforting hug is what assures her as she prepares for her wedding day and he walks her down the aisle and presents her to her husband to be. Flashbacks of the young girl looking into the future of the beautiful bride and woman she has become.

We wanted to showcase the wedding from the father’s perspective, and display a modern, vintage, and elegant look into the relationship between a father and his daughter. This shoot was originally inspired by #girldad. We support the role of fatherhood and we look forward to supporting couples, and their parents on their wedding day.
