Tuesday Monday! Short weeks are great because less work days, but short weeks are not so great for remembering what day of the week it actually is. The Ryback family was away in NYC this weekend and we HAD. A. BLAST. If you are in NYC, the Color Factory is a must (the kiddos could have stayed in the ball pit for hours), and if you are traveling with kiddos, let me know and I can share the awesome eats & AirBnB we stayed in that was perfect for our little family of 4! Today was the start of mine & Andy’s new life of two AM drop-offs, and two PM pick-ups, as Conrad started Day Care today (I didn’t cry! He seemed so happy!). It’s going to be an adjustment for sure as we figure out how to make this work. Being a full-time working parent is HARD STUFF.

So I’m going to try and take my mind off of ALL THE THINGS with this gorgeous DC Winery wedding at District Winery! Happy Tuesday, Monday Romancers.

From the photographer: You can’t get much better than Aaron & Kara when it comes to couples who are equal parts sentimental and fun. Since I met these guys last year, it’s been nothing but exciting texts, sharing Momofuku after their engagement session, being pumped to see this anticipated day. It was at District Winery, where we are often, but it was more than a DC wedding with a view, this one was special.

Being with these guys all day, as in almost 12 hours, allowed for everyone to connect more than ever and realize just how important this day was for these two. Having been dating for many years, there was this gentle connection between Aaron & Kara that was so fun to be around, like old souls but in advance.

This is one of those weddings where I could certainly tell you how their wedding felt, but I’d much rather let the photos do the talking. This wedding was one I’ll cherish for a long time (especially since they invited me to watch the Patriots game the next day! What?!!).
