I will attempt to keep my Live It Out Photo love to a tiny simmer today (no promises) while I get to share with you a recent hipster engagement session she shot a few weeks ago.
This here is Genevieve & Andy, canoodling all over one of Washington, DC’s best neighborhoods, Logan Circle.
Genevieve & Andy met online (okcupid) fell in love, and got engaged. They are planning their wedding for this October! Amber shares a bit from behind the scenes of this shoot:
we started at their lovely home and drank wine and talked of kittens, big families, and their upcoming nuptials (this october!) then we ambled about their neighborhood (i’m officially in love with logan circle.)
Enough said. Now it’s time to blog some seriously awesome engagement pictures. Effortlessly cool & casual, yet so full of love. Enjoy.
*warning: this post is rather picture heavy …. i just couldn’t narrow them down ….*
Andy & Genevieve share:
“a romantic set of zeros, ones, html coding, and computer hardware known as internet – and more specifically, a site on this net called okcupid – brought our pair together in 2010. unknown to one another, andy and genevieve pensively sat at their respective home computers ranking each other as a “5,” thereby setting a fortuitous, marquezian set of emails, texts, and dates in motion that would culminate in true love.”

Adorable
Secrets secrets…
LOVE the way Genevieve is looking at Andy here. You can see the love. I also love the progression of these next three shots in sequence. Like a freakin’ picture book of adorableness. I just cannot stand it.
This one belongs in a magazine. That light!!
Amazing how much emotion can be portrayed in a shot without faces. I LOVE this hand holding.
Not entirely sure why, but this here is my favorite. It looks like Genevieve might be dancing or something.
Congratulations Genevieve & Andy! Best of luck with the rest of your wedding planning. Special thanks again to the loveliest of lovely, miss Amber of Live It Out Photo for sharing her mad photography skills with us :)
