When I saw this engagement shoot on photographer Michelle Lindsay‘s Facebook page ~ I just knew I had to feature it. I adore everything about this shoot, the 1950’s attire, the amazing photography, and the fun-loving couple.
Meet Brooke, Nathan, and Brooke’s unbelievably amazing polka dot dress!
Brooke shares how her and Nathan met:
“Nathan and I met through two of our closest friends. His childhood friend, Brian, married one of my close college friends, Mia. We first met at one of their parties and continued to run into each other at their get-togethers.
A couple of years later I was out celebrating the end of a long term relationship with Brian and Mia. We met up with Nathan who had been out celebrating a friend’s birthday. Shortly after that we had our first date in Old Town Manassas (where we had our engagement pictures taken).”
Seriously ~ how beautiful is Brooke ??
Brooke also shares their adorable engagement story!!
“Fast forward about three years later to early April of 2010… Without my knowing Nathan bought my engagement ring. Although between busy schedules, bad weather, and a cold that we both had trouble shaking, he had to put off the proposal for about a month.
Then Memorial Day weekend last year, we decided to take a trip to one of our favorite vineyards to enjoy their yummy sangria. Four hours and two pitchers of sangria later, we were engaged!”
