Time seems to be flying by! We are closing on our house today (eek!) and it is exciting and terrifying at the same time. Wiring over such a large sum of money for closing was so wild, but it is something we’ve been saving and working towards for so long. I know it will all be worth it – I’m just trying to get through the next couple weeks as we tackle packing and moving and then the holidays. Not to mention the new variant and the possible overturning of Roe v. Wade – its just a lot. Hoping you all have a great weekend, and are getting into the holiday spirit!

This shoot is a bohemian inspired elopement located at a historic Bed and Breakfast on the waterfront in Mechanicsville, Maryland. This shoot was inspired with elegant touches in mind, from the lace on the dress and shoes, to the hair and makeup, and to top it off with the beautiful florals. This romantic day started out with getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite, to stepping out of the elegant double doors to her ceremony, then ending it with a picnic in the field with her new husband. Afterwards they celebrated with dancing on the patio in front of the venues beautiful reception quarters.
