I hope you all enjoyed some time off, good food, and time with friends and family. It was a bit weird for us to not host our families, but I knew it would just be too much while we’re trying to declutter and pack. Even just cooking for the 3 of us was more work than I wanted it to be, but it was nice to have Justin not working for a few days. We indulged in some of the sales (still) happening, but mostly just things for our new house. We close on our house at the end of the week, which is exciting and frightening at the same time. I wish I could get into the holiday spirit, but I don’t think that’s going to happen until this dreaded move is over. Until then, I’ll keep looking at all these pretty images from styled shoots. I love the subtle nods to the Disney stories in this fairytale styled shoot.

Dreaming of a fairytale wedding day can be a life long vision. This styled shoot was inspired by the classic storybook settings, but with a modern touch. We wanted to use several different stories to create a cohesive wedding day shoot.

The venue’s beautiful wooded backdrop and gold chandeliers painted the perfect scene for all things fairytale. The inside of the barn created a rustic vibe with a glam and modern touch. Featuring Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, and Sleeping Beauty, this styled shoot brought those four stories to life. The invitation suite was created with handmade paper, gold foil accents, and a charming color palette. With touches of golds, reds, and lace, the tablescape details added a modern and whimsical vibe for an evening of elegance. Each bouquet showcased each individual princess and their styles.

Each story was further represented by dresses that were so magical and elegant. All of the details and overall atmosphere of the day could not have been more magical and perfect, representing an absolute dream come true!
