Well it seems that one of the positives of the pandemic is coming to a close: no illnesses & viruses. The stomach bug hit Evie Thursday night through Saturday, with mounds of anxiety on when Conrad, Andy and I would then get it (so far, so good *throws salt over shoulder*), and a weird cold took our Nanny til today, which meant two anguishing days of trying to work full time + parent … and yeah, I am EXHAUSTED.

But this shoot is gorgeous and that camper van is giving me ALL the travel feels. Happy hump day Romancers!

This boho, Colorado, van life styled elopement took place at a campsite in the mountains about an hour outside of Boulder, CO. The elopement was styled to inspire adventurous, outdoorsy couples to turn their elopement day into a full day of exploration. The shoot began with a pre-ceremony coffee in the camper van and the bride getting her hair and makeup ready for the day. We really wanted to focus on the small moments of the day too: the quiet in-between glimpses before the ceremony actually starts, which so often get overlooked.

The ceremony itself took place between two trees at the campsite, with a beautiful macrame hanging between them as a ceremony backdrop. The couple shared their vows, with their sweet pup standing guard by their side.

The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent exploring the campsite and its nearby trails and overlooks. Back at the campsite, we also set up a Moroccan-styled dinner table with floor seating. Pillows and rugs were placed beneath to add a cozy, boho vibe to the area.

As it began to get dark, we finished off the night with our couple snuggling up together in the back of the camper van, with string lights glowing from the back, adding to the whimsical feel of the day.
