Friday! Three day weekend! Valentine’s Day! TWO HUNDRED MILLION VACCINES PROCURED!!!!!!!! I am trying to focus on that light. Here’s a gorgeous vintage styled shoot to help us get to the 3-day weekend.

The Venue at the Block is an up and coming venue, still very much under construction, but full of old school charm. The building was constructed in the 1920’s and had served the community as an auto dealership for the last 70 years. That was, until the full restoration of this building into the social space it serves as today. We wanted to pay homage to all the history that the building provided, while adding a funky and fresh spin bringing past era’s into modern times. The lavender and yellow color palette, vintage records used as place settings, and gorgeous florals from perfectly showcases some funky retro elements.

We are in love with the boho trends in today’s wedding industry, and we were able to easily incorporate a bohemian-retro throwback to the 70’s. Disco balls were incorporated into the florals, a gorgeous yellow convertible, paired with a carefully curated lemon elderflower cocktail styled with disco ball stirrers from the mobile bar brought the era and the fun color palette to life. With all the right elements falling into place, and bringing together the talented group of vendors, the team was able to pull together the retro design, and bring old school nostalgia into modern day chic style.
