It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a REAL wedding on the blog! It’s an exciting taste of hope (I think) as we see more and more vaccines rolling out, warmer weather coming (already here in DC!), and we even have a wedding to ATTEND in May! I’m also realizing I have my first wedding to WORK in just about two months. It’s been well over a year since I’ve worked a wedding and that statement sort of blows my mind. I am sure it’ll be like riding a bike …. right?
Anyway, we’re almost to Friday and I’m in love with the shade of green of these bridesmaids’ dresses. Let’s get to it!
Sarah claims that she absolutely hates planning, so she loved working with Antonia Baker Experience to help her plan her wedding. They went with a rustic elegance theme, with shades of whites, dark greens, blush, and gold. The winery setting was old-world and romantic, and a perfect atmosphere for their wedding!
The bridesmaids wore dark green dresses from Birdy Grey, and the shade matched the hunter green of the groom’s jacket. The two exchanged private gifts and letters during their first look, which was so sweet and emotional! After the vows, Sarah changed out of her gorgeous gown and into a custom made high/low dress. The party really got going then! They had such a fun crowd at their wedding, and I loved getting to capture all of their dance floor antics!
