With Thanksgiving behind us, I’m in full holiday mode! Our mantel is [mostly] decorated, and we’ll be picking out a tree later this week. Growing up, we’d always listen to the “Merry Christmas Sesame Street” record while we decorated our tree, and I can’t wait to carry on that tradition with Charlie this year! Creating new traditions, and getting to enjoy the holidays with Charlie are keeping me going, despite not being able to spend time with family. What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
To keep the love going, we have this super sweet backyard wedding. Shelli and Lee had to change their original wedding plans due to the pandemic, and opted for an intimate backyard celebration at their home. If you’ve had to change your wedding plans this year, I hope their wedding offers some inspiration for celebrating your love this year!
From the photographer: Lee and Shelli originally had a large wedding planned on a river tour boat but the pandemic shut that down, and they were forced to do a backyard wedding.
They chose their own yard so they could host their immediate family, and after the wedding, they had a pool party for their reception. It was very intimate and sweet.
