I think I mentioned it before, but Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! Justin and I love to cook, and ever since we started dating, we’ve been hosting our families for Thanksgiving. This year is a bit bittersweet, not being able to have everyone here, though we will get to spend time with Justin’s parents. Cooking our usual Thanksgiving dinner, albeit for a much smaller group, will bring a much needed sense of normalcy. Despite his parents testing negative, and them traveling from an area with lower case rates, I still can’t shake the bit of anxiety I’m feeling. Nonetheless, I’m still thankful that we and our families have our health, and we can make the most of it.

As you can imagine, we are receiving fewer real wedding submissions this year. The styled shoots are still rolling in though, so you’ll start to see more of them on the blog. We’ll still feature as many real weddings and engagements as we can. But for now, we have this gorgeous, out of the woods styled shoot with all the Fall vibes!

We hope you have a happy Thanksgiving, however you are celebrating this year. And as Bree mentioned yesterday, we’ll keep bringing you all the lovely wedding inspiration, and real love stories to help brighten your day!

My vision for this shoot was the Fall season, because it is my favorite time of year, and to bring the woods inside. Like this shoot, Fall is full of colors that are so vibrant and beautiful, so we tried to show all the colors of the season.

The florals were as close to perfection as possible and better than I hoped for. We combined the intimate vintage dishes with the modern style of the venue. From the moss-covered cake table, to the bride’s gorgeous floral bouquet, each element of this styled shoot beautifully combines the natural colors of the fall outdoors and indoors.

Along the way, we managed to surprise our bride with a vow renewal!
