This felt like a really long week. Andy left yesterday for the Oscars and I woke up this morning to an email that our daycare is closed due to high-winds/weather. Such. Is. Life. Thankfully my parents are making the trip down from NJ to help me this weekend. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, IDK how single parents do it. For today we have a REALLY FUN & bright(!) Virginia beach wedding for some wedding inspiration. The bright purple and teal colors, the flowers, the neon lights, and really just the FUN of this wedding & couple pops through in every picture. This is a wedding that you look at and go, “man – I wish I was a guest at this wedding!”. Happy Friday Romancers, stay safe from the wind and hope you all have a great weekend!

Jordan and Tyrell had a pretty incredible wedding – with stunning details that were extraordinarily colorful.  From the unique centerpieces at each table to the gorgeous backdrop for the sweetheart table, to the fantastic lighting that lit up the sky with an amazing full moon.

We wanted our wedding to just reflect our love and the simplicity of our relationship. We didn’t choose the colors for any particular reason other than when we pictured our wedding those were the colors that we envisioned. We wanted to get married somewhere beautiful, that we could dance under the full moon, we considered a couple locations but Oceanaire just made sense. With the indoor option and the tenth floor sun deck, plus my mom working there it just worked out for the best. The sign that was on our sweetheart table was hand made, the cookie favors were handmade and the necklace that I wore was handmade, I bought off of Etsy. I think the most nontraditional aspect of our wedding was the date. We picked the date only because it was a full moon.”
