Literally heading out the door for a final consult and YET AGAIN, I feel rusty as hell!!! I know it comes back like riding a bike, but I am still certainly a bit anxious over it. So I’m going to enjoy the Fall weather, the beautiful District Winery views, and focus on the few weddings I have left for the year (and the good news on 5-12yo vaccines … hurrrrrrrrrrry). Happy Hump Day all!

From the photographer: I originally reached out to Michael and Samuel for a styled shoot, but not long after we set a date, Michael called me up to tell me wanted to turn it into a surprise wedding, thrusting us into wedding planner mode together.

Samuel had surprised Michael with an over-the-top engagement in Florida, so Michael wanted to return the surprise, and organized a full wedding, flying in all of their friends and family to join them on the romantic roof deck of the Conrad Hotel for a magical wedding.

Under the guise of the styled shoot, we started with photos in City Center, highlighting the modern architecture lined with designer stores like Tiffany and Gucci. Michael presented Samuel with a pair of Gucci shoes he had been coveting, and sprung the surprise. We returned to the hotel for the big celebration. Samuel was impressed by Michael’s meticulous planning, and overwhelmed by seeing his amazing family and friends. It was an emotional occasion for all.
