When I saw Janice at Bellwether Events, dropping pics of this Harry Potter baby shower on her Instagram, I just knew I had to have it on the blog. As the proud recipient of her own Harry Potter baby shower, I was enamoured by the details of this one – they were ON. POINT. No Harry Potter reference left untouched (even the venue had a wink to HP – “Common Room” studio – LOVE). If you’re a Potter fan, like myself, you’ll likely be wanting everything from this post even if you aren’t expecting a baby ;) Let’s get to it!
From the planner: I bought a lot of things, like the house banners, candles, vintage looking keys, parchment paper, brick wall and spiders, on Amazon. Everything else I found for free on the internet (key wings, wanted signs, educational decrees, potions labels, Myrtle, kitten photos, and Harry Potter fonts.)
A huge shout out to my co-host Julie Anthony, who did all the food and drink; and my bestie Jon McCarty, who spent hours helping me set up the decor.
