Wedding Music That Doesn’t Suck: “God Only Knows”

WOW, what a freaking weekend it was for me. Holiday parties on Thursday and Friday, and then Saturday my sisters and I went up to NJ [for the day] to surprise my mom at her pre-release party for the children’s book she wrote, and then Sunday it was Operation DIY Christmas … so naturally the only thing that could get me through was watching my all-time favorite movie, Love Actually.
No movie makes me nearly as happy & ready for Christmas as Love Actually does.
A couple months ago, I suggested another song from this movie that would be appropriate for a wedding, but this song, by The Beach Boys, is even more appropriate – especially when you see the scene in the movie [the end] with all the couples, and the hugs, and the LOVE, and … uh, excuse me while I go watch this movie again.
Just kidding :)
