And we are BACK with Part 2 of Erin & Karl’s gloriously vintage & historic Fredericksburg, VA wedding from Sweet Tea Photography!

On Tuesday we saw Part 1, including those patterned bridesmaids dresses, beautiful pale pink & ivory flower bouquets, and Erin’s elegantly simple, J Crew wedding dress.

With no wedding planner, Erin was focused on the process of the wedding and all of the unique touches that went into it. Many of the decorations were collected by Erin, including milk glass cake stands and bud vases from Etsy and thrift stores.

I love these “portrait” shots of Erin & Karl. So relaxed and beautiful.

Erin shares some insight into her and her dad’s father daughter song selection:

Me and my dad, Kevin, danced to Darius Rucker’s “It Won’t Be Like This For Long.” He chose the song, which made it that much more special. My parents also listened to a lot of Hootie and the Blowfish in the nineties when I was growing up, so it was special because of that, too.

Father daughter dance pictures always get me! So much love & emotion.

How amazing are these next two shots of Erin & her dad’s dance? The emotion!?

Erin asked Sweet Tea Photo for a vintage feel to her pictures ~ I think Sweet Tea nailed this.

The table numbers are in simple frames that were on sale at Target, and the numbers themselves are vintage, also from Etsy.

Erin & Karl collected mismatched milk vases and jars from thrift stores and other antique places to decorate the venue

Karl and I danced to “And I Love Her” by the Beatles (… in part because it’s so short! We’re not huge Beatles fans, but we ended up playing a fair amount of Beatles music because it’s both good and catchy, as well as well known and accessible to the variety of generations of guests we had.)

Cupcakes and cake were provided by The Icing

Following the toasts a vintage photo booth set up by Erin and her father provided the wedding guests with the opportunity to take Polaroid portraits to include in the wedding guest book.

in LOVE with these wedding Polaroid shots! so vintage, so amazing

love.these.Polaroids!!

and now for some AWESOME reception, dancing shots

Following dancing the guests were carried away on a trolley as Erin and Karl made their way to Carl’s Ice Cream for some fun post-wedding pictures!

Congratulations Erin & Karl – I cannot thank you both enough for sharing your amazing, vintage wedding with my blog. It was obvious that your wedding was a true labor of love and a perfect reflection of who you both are as individuals, and together as a loving, couple. Best wishes for many more years of happiness and love together.

A special thanks again to Lisa Marie & Michelle of Sweet Tea Photography, for so stunningly capturing Erin & Karl’s wedding with the perfect touch of vintage glamour and mastered emotional details! You guys rock!
