Real Capitol Wedding: Morgan & John
Because I am new to the wedblog world, I am always on the hunt to find unique and alternative weddings in the area. I hope someday couples & photogs will find me … but until then, it has been awesome stalking … I mean … chatting up local photographers that have shot some truly unique and fun weddings in the past year.
Enter, Erin Antognoli. I found Erin through endless Google searching and I am so happy I did. Erin is exactly the time of photographer that Capitol Romance wants to see more of. Why? See Erin’s about me:
frilly. a couple of years ago my husband and i got stuck next to a crazy guy on the metro. as we watched him sputter and pop through his apocalyptic rants i realized that what we were really witnessing was a liberated individual, content in both his sense of self and his place in the universe (which he claimed was the earth’s molten core if i remember correctly).
i found myself strangely envious.
to be that comfortable with one’s own aberrant nature was a deliriously attractive idea. i’ve never quite fit in myself. i’m a girl who’s not very girly trying to sell herself in probably the girliest of all industries. talk about an uphill battle.
much like that crazy guy, i’ve grown weary of trying to fit in. instead i’ve decided to turn weakness into strength. so if you’re looking for something… slightly askew… just say my name three times into a mirror.

Their rings are SO unique! I am a sucker for unique/funky wedding rings.
Morgan’s yellow dress is the epitome of cool. I am also a sucker for alternative wedding dresses.
I love the simplicity of their reception setup/decor. Bigger is not always better.
